PURPOSE: To provide an unlocking mechanism, which can accurately and surely transmit the operating force, by bending a cable with a guide body so as to shorten the effective length of the cable, and positioning a slider at the cable side end of an oblong hole.

CONSTITUTION: In the case where a door is locked by a locking device 5 or a locking device 6, when an outside operating lever 9 is operated in the X direction, the operating force and the oscillation stroke is transmitted by the tensile force of an outside cable 24 so as to pull a U-shaped bracket 21, and since a slider pin 22 in positioned in the cable side end of an oblong hole 19, the operating force and the oscillation stroke are transmitted to a crank plate 15, and release levers 13, 14 are pulled by rods 17, 18 so as to cancel the locking devices 5, 6. When an inside operating lever 8 is operated in the Y direction, the operating force and the oscillation stroke are transmitted to the crank plate 15 by the tensile force of an inside cable 26 so as to oscillate the crank plate 15, and the locking devices 5, 6 are similarly released.
