PURPOSE: To provide a nozzle which assures uniform thickness in painting of an adhesive even on intermittent operation.

CONSTITUTION: The nozzle body includes the first channels 20, 21, 22 and 23, a hole 50, and a number of the second channels. The second channels open to a slot 30. A rotating slider acting as a shutter is inserted in the hole 50. The slider opens or closes the passages between channels 21, 22 and 23 and the second channels by changing its position. Melted adhesive flowing in the first channel 20 is discharged from the slot 30 via the channels 21, 22 and 23, the slider in open position and the second channels. Discharge of the adhesive is stopped by turning the slider to closure position.
