Abstract:
To provide a slow descender for escape capable of descending refugees from the heights onto the ground easily and safely in the case of emergency of a fire or the like.
This descender 1 for escape adopts a structure continuously usable for plural refugees. Besides, a chain wheel 4, around which an endless chain is wound, is used in the descender 1 and by providing a brake device for suppressing the number of revolution of the chain wheel 4 when that number of revolution exceeds the predetermined number, plural refugees can be escaped safely and continuously.
