PURPOSE: To facilitate visibility of a flying ball and determination of the direction of its rotation and the rotational speed of the ball by a method wherein the external surface of the ball is divided into a number of circular arc faces and adjacent zones are colored differently while regularly pentagonal and regularly hexagonal figure parts divided are colored in bright four colors separately.

CONSTITUTION: In a soccer ball 10, rubber blocks A made up of 32 figures comprising 12 regular pentagons and 20 regular hexagons are printed on the surface of a hollow spherical body having two layers made of a rubber and reinforced by a thread and shallow grooves B with a V-shaped cross section are formed at the portions of the boundaries of the separate blocks A. Figures make up the external surface of the ball 10, namely the blocks A are bonded on the surface of the hollow spherical body made from materials colored in four colors, red, orange, yellowish green and yellow. This, the ball 10 is colored brightly and, where the ball 10 is kicked to fly in the air or grounding, it is brightened in a plurality of light colors, and it appears as a light ball.
