PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device that allows a light reception unit of the solar panels to be broadly ensured without reducing power generation capacity of the solar panels.SOLUTION: A timepiece comprises a solar panel that has a solar cell including: a first light reception area 501; a second light reception area 502; and a connected area 503 having narrower width than those of the first light reception area 501 and the second light reception area 502 and connecting the first light reception area 501 and the second light reception area 502. In the connected area 503, a conductive reinforcement member R consisting of conductive material is provided, and the conductive reinforcement member R is electrically connected to a transparent electrode 56 of the first light reception area 501 and the transparent electrode 56 of the second light reception area 502.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
