Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar simulator capable of radiating light having high parallel accuracy and high uniformity, from an extremely close range, and whose manufacturing cost and maintenance cost are inexpensive.SOLUTION: A solar simulator includes: a long xenon flash lamp; a first reflection mirror configured to convert light from the xenon flash lamp into parallel light; an air mass filter configured to transmit the parallel light from the reflection mirror; an optical element (beam splitter) configured to transmit and reflect the parallel light from the air mass filter; and a second reflection mirror configured to reflect the light from the optical element. The optical element (beam splitter) is arranged at an angle of 45° to the air mass filter, and is configured to perform reflection toward a center (axis) of a device. The second reflection mirror is configured to perform reflection toward the same direction as a parallel light direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
