To provide a solenoid valve capable of suppressing the self-excited vibration effectively using a relatively simple constitution.
The solenoid valve has a coil spring 50 whose two ends 52 are not subjected to any post-cutting end processing such as shaping, grinding, etc., and assume open end form. That is, when the coil spring 50 is placed on a plane perpendicular to its axial direction in the no-load condition, each end 52 of the spring 50 will have a non-contact part out of contact with the plane. The end face 53 (virtual plane) formed by a winding part of the end 52 is inclined to the surface perpendicular to the coil spring 50 in the axial direction. The tips 54 and 56 of element wires at the end 52 are arranged in positions offset from the axis l of the coil spring 50.
