To provide a solid-state imaging apparatus in which deviation of white balance is not conspicuous even when a shutter speed is changed during imaging.
An optical image is converted into an imaging signal by an imaging unit 11, a linearity correction value is changed by an odd-number linearity correction unit 21 and an even-number linearity correction unit 22 in accordance with a change of the shutter speed set to the imaging unit 11, and input/output characteristics of the quantity of light of the optical image and the imaging signal are corrected. The relationship between the shutter speed and the linearity correction value is being stored in a linearity correction value storage unit 23. The imaging signal is then inputted through the linearity correction means to a white balance correction unit 24, and white balance of the imaging signal is corrected therein.
