To provide a solid-state imaging apparatus in which a CCD chip is connected to an AFE chip with a simpler structure than hetretofore even when channels of signals outputted in parallel are increased in number.
The solid-state imaging apparatus is provided with: a plurality of photodiodes 11, a vertical charge transferring part 12 for transferring charge generated by each of the plurality of photodiodes 11; and a signal processing circuit (AFE) for performing prescribed signal processing of a signal corresponding to the charge transferred by the vertical charge transferring part 12. The apparatus is also provided with: a floating diffusion amplifier (FDA) 13 for converting the charge transferred from the vertical charge transferring part 12 into voltage corresponding to its charge amount; a capacitor 19 for converting the voltage converted by the FDA 13 into current; and a CDS circuit 21 for keeping an output potential of the capacitor 19 constant.
