Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the sorting efficiency of grains to be sorted.SOLUTION: In a sorting apparatus 10, a material to be sorted is supplied into a sorting drum 42 while the sorting drum 42 is rotated, so that grains to be sorted in the material to be sorted are sorted by passing through sorting holes 64A of a circumferential wall of the sorting drum 42. Here, the rotation of the sorting drum 42 can effectively agitate the material to be sorted in the sorting drum 42. Thereby, the grains to be sorted can effectively reach the circumferential wall of the sorting drum 42, and the sorting efficiency of the grains to be sorted can increase.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
