In this sound absorbing material, a sound absorbing characteristic is specified by using flow resistance forming factors for almost deciding sound absorbing performance ranging from the low and medium frequencies to the high frequency, a Young's modulus, and a loss factor, and the flow resistance is set to satisfy that the flow resistance is 3.3104, the Young's modulus is set to be 1.2103-2.0104, and the loss factor is set to satisfy that the loss factor is 0.12, and each factor is set from the viewpoint of improving the sound absorbing performance for the low, medium, and high frequencies.
