A plurality of projecting parts 8 are projected from the other plate 3 side of a pair of plates 2 and 3 toward the one plate 2 to receive the one plate 2. The one plate 2 is made air-impermeable and the one plate 2 can be finely vibrated by the relation with the projecting parts 8. When sound is inputted into the one plate 2, particle velocity in a flat sound absorbing space 4 is increased by the fine vibration of the one plate 2, and the sound is absorbed by a sound absorbing material 5 in the sound absorbing space 4. By making each of the projecting parts 8 into a porous state, each of the projecting parts 8 is made to exert a sound absorbing function, and each of the projecting parts 8 is effectively utilized a sound absorbing material.
