Title:
SOUND SOURCE DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2702876
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a sound source detector which can locate the position of an aircraft in an airport, for example, correctly at a low cost.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of sound sensors S0, S1-S3..., S-1-S-3... for detecting a sound signal generated from a sound source are arranged in a row at a predetermined interval. The sound sensors are connected with a plurality of delay circuits D0, D1-D3..., D-1-D-3... having time lags differing by a predetermined unit time τ. Outputs from the plurality of delay circuits are added by an adder circuit AD and the direction of sound source is detected based on the unit time τ for maximizing the output from the adder circuit AD.
