Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly switch a mode to a manual mode from an automatic speed change mode by setting a speed change stage set by manual speed change control closest to the speed change ratio set by automatic speed change control and to a speed change stage on the Hi side.
SOLUTION: In an automatic speed change mode AM where automatic speed change control (A) 61 is selected by a speed changemode switching means 64, the target speed change ratio i* of a continuously variable transmission (M) 60 is almost continuously set according to vehicle speed and a load of an engine. On the other hand, in a manual mode BM where manual speed change control (B) 62 is selected, the target speed change ratio of M 60 is set to one among preset plural speed change stages GP by a signal from a manual speed change command 63. When the speed change mode switching means 64 switches a mode to B 62 from A 61, the speed change stage GP set by B 62 is set closest to the speed change ratio set by A 61 and to a speed change stage on the Hi side, and at switching operation time to BM from AM, it is always shifted up, and an unintended engine brake is prevented, and a mode can be smoothly switched.
