PURPOSE: To make the weight balance of the arm part of a shift stopper a balancing condition, prevent generation of deterioration caused by being partially collided a shift folk on the top end of the arm part of a shift stopper, and prevent uncomfortable feeling on operation by an operator.
CONSTITUTION: The abutting part 126 of a stopper arm is formed in a cross sectional trapezoid taper shape which is enlarged more than the top end in a direction where the stopper arm is moved to a lock position, and also the shapes of the top end 15a of a shift folk 15 and a part 2 which abuts on the abutting part 126 of a mission case are formed so as to fit to the shape of the butting part 126. It is thus possible to prevent the top end 15a of the shift folk 15 of the abutting part 126 from colliding partially.
