Abstract:
To provide a practicable spherical bearing easily manufactured, capable of preventing contact of small balls with each other and enabling smooth slant movement of a large ball.
The spherical bearing comprises the large ball 11 and a housing 13 for storing and holding the large ball 11 via the plurality of small balls 12 arranged around the large ball 11. An annular cage 15 having a through hole 14 for rotatably holding the small ball 12 is provided in each of the small balls 12. On the outer peripheral surface of each of the annular cages 15, a conical surface 19 corresponding to a conical surface of a cone 18 having a top 16 which is the center of the large ball 11 and symmetric with respect to the central axis 17 of the cage 15 is formed.
