Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts by providing a hub 2 having a pair of upper and lower bearings in a central inner cylinder of a housing assembly with a rotating shaft installed vertically at the center, having upper and lower circular flat plate portions at the center, and having the flat plate portions formed in one united body with the hub and a labyrinth seal. SOLUTION: A hub 2 comprises an inner cylindrical portion 21 for inserting a bearing 4, and an outer cylindrical portion 22 attached with a magnet 22 of a rotor. The upper center of an inner cylindrical portion 21 is tightly closed with a flat plate portion 23, a shaft hole 25 for inserting a rotating shaft 3 is drilled at the center, and the flat plate portion 23 plays the role of labyrinth seal for a space of the inner cylindrical portion 21 at the outer side. A level difference portion 24 is formed on the bottom surface of the flat plate portion 23, and the degree of adhesion to the flat plate portion of the upper side bearing 4 is set to larger than a predetermined value. Mutual distance between the upper and lower bearings 4 fixed together with the shaft to the inside of the inner cylindrical portion 21 is set to a predetermined value by a interval maintaining member 5. The flat plate portion 23 made in one united body at the enter of the upper side of the hub 2 closes the upper portion of the lower bearing 4. By doing this, the scattering of lubricating oil from the bearing can be prevented.
