Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pilling resistant spun yarn that has an excellent quick drying property, excellent reducing effect of sticky feeling at the time of perspiration, a soft feeling, and gloss feeling and that exerts little change in touch feeling, and to provide a woven or knitted fabric using the pilling resistant spun yarn.SOLUTION: There is provided a spun yarn containing 20 to 100 mass% of acetate-based staple fibers having a single fiber fineness of 1.1 to 4.2 dtex and the number of crimps of 10 to 30 pieces/inch. A woven or knitted fabric comprises 40 mass% or more of the spun yarn based on total mass of the woven or knitted fabric, and has pilling resistance of 4 grade or higher. In the woven or knitted fabric, the acetate-based staple fiber is a laminated type conjugated yarn of a triacetate component and a diacetate component, and acetyl groups of side chains of molecules constituting the acetate-based staple fiber are saponified. The spun yarn contains 20 to 80 mass% of at least one or more of synthetic fiber staple fibers, regenerated fiber staple fibers, and natural fibers, and has 20 to 45 yarn count in terms of cotton count.SELECTED DRAWING: None
