PURPOSE: To enhance homogenization capacity and effect, by combining a proper number of intermedate homogenizing values, each of which has a fluid passage at the center thereof and homogenizing surfaces at both end surfaces thereof, between a homogenizing valve seat and a homogenizing valve in series in a multistage system within a homogenization cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: A liquid to be homogenized passes the flow channel of a homogenizing valve seat 1 under pressure from a liquid inlet 8 and enters the passages 4 of intermediate valves 3a, 3b. In this case, because there are three homogenizing surfaces, the liquid is separated into three parts which in turn pass through minute gaps of the valves. Therefore, the liquid is homogenized by cavitation effect due to abrupt explosive action from high pressure to low pressure and collision destructive effect due to the crash of the liquid to valve walls at a high speed while the homogenized liquid passes the outer periphery of a homogenization cylinder 6 from each emitting port thereof and gathered at an outlet 9 to be discharged therefrom. By this method, because homogenization action is performed in a divided state, compressive and explosive actions at the valve are improved.
