Abstract:

PURPOSE: To contrive stabilization of TAT in blood plasma from after blood- gathering to measurement by adding argatroban to the blood plasma containing TAT (a compound of thorombin and antithorombin III).

CONSTITUTION: Argatroban is previously added to a blood-gathering tube containing anti-coagulating agent as sodium citrate and TAT is analyzed in blood plasma up to TAT measurement with a method for gathering blood in the blood-gathering tube or new production is prevented and an exact quantity of TAT can be known in a body. And a quantity of addition of argatroban had better be at least 0.05mM as final concentration. Argatroban is a compound expressed in the following formula: (2R,4R)-methyl-1-[N2-(RS-3-methyl-1,2,3,4- tetrahydro-8-quinoline sulfonyl)-L-arginine]-2-piperidine carboxylic acid hydrate.
