PURPOSE: To obtain a stabilizer having excellent dispersing and stabilizing effects for charcoal-oil mixed fuel, by using a polyether polyol or its derivative obtained by addition of ethlkene oxide or propylene oxide to a compound having active hydrogen.
CONSTITUTION: A polyether polyol compound obtained by adding of 20W800mol (on the average) ethylene oxide and/or propylene oxide to a compound having two or more active hydrogen atoms per molecule (e.g., ethylene glycol) in the presence of an acid or alkaline catalyst and under pressure or its derivative obtained by esterifying part or all of the hydroxyal groups of said compound with a carboxylic acid is used as the titled stabilizer. The stabilizer is added in a proportion of 0.005W 1.0wt% to a charcoal-oil mixed fuel composed of 10W70wt% charcoal, 90W30wt% oil, and 0W20wt% water.
