Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent occurrence of stains in continuous processing and to enhance storage stability of images after processing by processing the color photographic sensitive material with a stabilizing processing solution containing a monobasic organic acid having at least one hydroxyl group.
CONSTITUTION: The silver halide color photographic sensitive material is processed with the stabilizing processing solution containing the monobasic organic acid having at least one hydroxyl group. This stabilizing processing solution has an effect of stabilizing a dye image formed by color development, especially, effect of preventing discoloration of a magenta dye and contains the replenishing solution to be used for maintaining the composition of the processing solution at the time of continuous processing.
