Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a new aldehyde base dye stabilizing solution capable of replacing formaldehyde without adversely affecting dye stabilization or the stabilizing solution remarkably reduced in an amount of formaldehyde without adversely affecting dye stabilization.
CONSTITUTION: The stabilizing aqueous solution for color development processing the photographic element comprises an aldehyde dye stabilizer and a secondary amine and this secondary amine exists in an amount enough to activate the aldehyde dye stabilizer and to achieve the dye stabilization.
