Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a static electricity eliminator and a static electricity eliminating method by which electrification can be removed effectively.
CONSTITUTION: An X-ray emitted from an X-ray tube 30 is radiated to gas coming into contact with a surface on the X-ray tube 30 side of a static electricity eliminating object 10 introduced to the guide parts 20 and 21. This X-ray passes through the static electricity eliminating object 10, and is also radiated to gas coming into contact with a surface opposite to the X-ray tube 30 side of the static electricity eliminating object 10. Thereby, the gas coming into contact with both surfaces of the static electricity eliminating object 10 is ionized, and bonding is caused between electric charge electrified to the static electricity eliminating object 10 and electric charge of ionized gas. Static electricity is eliminated simultaneously from both surfaces of the static electricity eliminating object 10 by this bonding.
