PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress property changes of a discharge inducing part and to reduce parasitic capacitance occurring between a coil and an ESD suppressor.SOLUTION: An electrostatic protection component includes: a prime field 4 where insulator layers 10 are laminated; a coil L1 which is composed of internal conductors 21 to 24 and arranged in the prime field 4; and an ESD suppressor SP1 which includes first and second discharge electrodes 11, 12 arranged separately from each other and a discharge inducing part 13 that is in contact with the electrodes 11, 12 in the way that first and second side surface parts 11b, 12b in the electrodes 11, 12 are connected to each other and that contains metallic particles and which is arranged in the prime field 4 side by side to the coil L1 in a laminating direction. The electrodes 11, 12 are positioned nearer on the coil L1 side than the discharge inducing part 13 seen from the laminating direction. The prime field 4 is positioned in the way that it covers the entire discharge inducing part 13 when viewed from the coil L1 side in the laminating direction and has a cavity 14 which is in contact with the first and second side surface parts 11b, 12b and the discharge inducing part 13.
