Abstract:
To provide a stator of a rotary electric machine capable of efficiently cooling inside slots.SOLUTION: A stator 10 of a rotary electric machine is provided with: a stator core 11 formed with a plurality of slots 12; and a coil 15 including a plurality of coil segments 20 inserted into each of the slots 12. Each of the slots 12 is arranged with at least a first coil segment 20A and a second coil segment 20B so that they overlap each other in the radial direction. Overlapping surfaces 21a and 31a between both coil segments 20A and 20B are arranged with a heat transport sheet 40. The heat transport sheet 40 is provided with coolant receiving portions 41 and 42 protruding from both end surfaces 13a and 13b, respectively, of the stator core 11, and a heat exchange portion 43 for exchanging heat with both coil segments 20A and 20B in each of the slots 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
