PURPOSE: To provide a steamer capable of simultaneously stretching a tank and opening/closing an opening/closing valve while utilizing the turning operation of a lid body for opening/closing a water feeding port by providing a lock means for keeping the extending state of the tank and the opening state of the opening/closing valve in conjunction with the opening of the lid body.

CONSTITUTION: When a water feeding port 30 is opened by turning a lid body 32 at the time of supplying water into a tank 16, a holding rod 52 is turned by a cam 33 against the energizing force of a hook spring 55, and a lock part 52a is turned to a position to lock an attaching stand 20. At this moment, the cam 33 presses the holding rod 52. When an operating knob 23 is pushed down afterwards, the tank 16 compressed by a spring 21 up to the moment is extended downward through an operating rod 24, that compression is limited by the lock part 52a, and the extending state is maintained. Besides, during the downward extension of the tank 16, a lower bent part 36b of a pressing rod 36 is locked onto an attaching stand 20 and the pressing rod 26 is dropped downward. Consequently, the supporting rod 25 is pushed down by an upper bend part 36a and an opening part 18 is opened by an opening/closing valve 26 and communicated with the water feeding port 30.
