Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain steaming cloth for steamed rice useful in producing SAKE, having excellent steam permeability without bonding steamed rice.
CONSTITUTION: This steaming cloth 1 for steamed rice comprises woven fabric composed of monofilament yarn having 300-5,000 denier thickness free from water absorption properties. The woven fabric has a total of warp density and weft density of the monofilament yarn of 4-60 yarns/2.54cm2, excellent steam permeability and opening spaces 3 with such a size as not to drop polished rice from texture.
