Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a steel plate with projections wherein the projection heights exceed specific values attainable in rolling method and its manufacturing method.
CONSTITUTION: Two rows of continuous projecting parts 13a, 13b having a prescribed height each are formed by a caliber roll 11 having two groove calibers 11a, 11b in the same direction as the rolling direction and further each of plural rows of continuous projecting parts 13a, 13b is rolled down, by using a caliber roll 15 having recessed calibers 14a, 14b of a prescribed shape each, partially as far as the surface position of the steel plate 12 in the rolling direction. In this way, the steel plate having projection heights exceeding 4mm can be manufactured.
