Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce turning radius of body by stopping pressure oil supply to a rear steering cylinder through a changeover valve under high speed driving with higher speed than a setting level and steering only through front wheels. CONSTITUTION:Right and left front wheels 1 are coupled through a link 2 and steered to the right and left through a front steering cylinder 3. Right and left rear wheels 4 are coupled through a link 5 and steered to the right and left through a rear steering cylinder 6. The cylinders 3 and 6 are communicated each other through first and second paths 7, 8, and a first changeover valve is arranged in the way of the paths 7, 8. A second changeover valve 14 is arranged between an accumulator 13 and the paths 7, 8. When the vehicle speed V is higher than a setting level and the steering angle exceeds over a setting level, the first changeover valve 12 is blocked while the second changeover valve 14 is communicated so as to lock the rear steering cylinder 6 thus realizing front wheel steering condition.
