Abstract:
The invention relates to a steering system, particularly for motor vehicles, comprising a steering wheel (1) that is connected to a steering wheel actuator (2). The steering wheel actuator (2) corresponds with a differential drive (11) having at least one servo-motor (12) for driving at least one gear stage (13) connected to a steering rack (15). In order to hydraulically support the steering rack movement, a hydraulic device (7) is provided, which has a steering valve (6) that can be actuated by the differential drive (11). The steering wheel (1) can also be connected to the steering valve (6) by the closing of a brakable coupling (4).
