Abstract:
To provide a steering lock device allowing extension of a degree of freedom of layout in a storing space, while reducing a dimension of the whole of the device in the sliding direction of a lock member.
In this steering lock device 1, an inclined part 64c and an inclined receiving part 71 are made to abut on and link with each other since a sliding member 6 slides, and the lock member 8 is displaced between a lock position and a lock releasing position. The lock member 8 is extendably constituted of a hanger member 7 located on the sliding member 6 side and a lock body 8a located on a steering shaft side. An urging member 10 urging the lock body 8a toward the steering shaft is arranged between the hanger member 7 and lock body 8a.
