Abstract:
To provide a vehicle body structure of a vehicle, which improves a shock absorption performance by causing crush deformation of a middle projection of a bumper beam in a vehicle collision by a deformation promotion part.
Ends of a crush box 18 are connected from an upper flange 19A to a lower flange 19B of the cross-section hat-shaped bumper beam 19. The deformation promotion part 18A provided in a recess or projection shape in a vehicle width direction for promoting the deformation of the middle projection 19 of the bumper beam 19 is provided in the crush box 18 at a position corresponding to the middle projection 19C of the cross-section hat-shaped bumper beam 19.
