PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering mounting method capable of surely engaging a steering with a rotary member and a steering mounting structure eliminating necessity for a movable structure of the rotary member.
SOLUTION: In a steering mounting method mounting a rotary member 37 in a steering shaft 9 and mounting a steering 11 in the steering shaft 9 simultaneously with engaging the rotary member 37 with the steering 11, an inner cylinder 5 of a cable type electric connection device 1, temporarily fixing the inner cylinder 5 to an outer cylinder 3 in a rotational center position, is mounted incapable of relatively rotating in the periphery of the rotary member 37. Wire harness 6 drawn out from the inner cylinder 5 is coated with a tube 39. In this tube 39, by inserting a wire harness through hole 47 of the steering 11, positioning is performed by regulating relative rotation of the inner cylinder 5 and the steering 11, the steering 11 is mounted in the steering shaft 9, simultaneously with engaging the rotary member 37 with the steering 11, thereafter, the tube 39 is extracted from the wire harness 6.
