PURPOSE: To make a torque of step motor higher by shifting many yokes circumferentially so that they correspond to a phase shift of each coil in the stator part and by arranging said yokes at equal spaces circumferentially in the coil winding part.
CONSTITUTION: Spaces between an A-phase side first stator 41a and a B-phase side first stator 41b are 45° and 75° in case of a twelve-pole step motor. Stator pieces 4a, 4b and other ends 42a, 42b are bent so as to shift from each other circumferentially, and said bend shifts circumferentially in the manner of corresponding to a phase shift of each coil 34, 35 in the first stator 41a, 41b parts but are arranged at equal spaces circumferentially in parts round which the coils 34, 35 are wound. Therefore, a space between the stators 4a and 4b is 60° in a coil winding part. Accordingly, the coils 34, 35 are also arranged at an equal space of 60° so that a coil space in a housing 1 can be used effectively and a torque of apparatus can be made higher.
