Abstract:
PURPOSE: To sterilize a whole body of an assembled handpiece by providing sterilizing fluid to invade to the inside of a hand piece.
CONSTITUTION: A hand piece 10 comprises a thin and long housing 12, and a coil unit 22 to form an alternating field in it. The housing 12 and the coil unit 22 are assembled to compose a gap between ends of the housing 12 and the coil unit 22, so steam, chemical, and heat can get in to/out of the hand piece 10 to more speedily and completely perform sterilization of the handpiece 10. For allowing different thermal expansion coefficients between materials without accumulating excessive stress, potting is not applied on the coil unit 22 to the housing 12.
