Abstract:
To provide a novel sterilization method and a novel sterilizer composition which exhibit superior sterilizing effect on both of Methylobacterium microbes and Cladosporium microbes.SOLUTION: A hard surface sterilizing method includes bringing a sterilizer composition including the following (a) component and water, with the concentration of the (a) component being 1 ppm or more and 20,000 ppm or less and its pH being 6 or more and 12 or less at 20°C, into contact with a hard surface for 10 seconds or longer and 3,600 seconds or shorter, thereby sterilizing Methylobacterium microbes and Cladosporium microbes. The (a) component is polyoxyethylene alkyl amine having a C8-14 alkyl group or alkenyl group, with an average number of moles of added oxyethylene groups being 1 or more and 9 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
