PURPOSE: To enable sure stopping of bleeding by fixing a pad having a specific shape add thickness and having elasticity and compressive strength on a base material formed by a specific material having specific shape and dimensions.
CONSTITUTION: An adhesive layer 2 is formed on one surface of a base material 1, and a pad 3 which is formed oval to press both an arterial tube piercing hole and a skin surface piercing hole and 8-12mm thick and has a little elasticity and moderate compressive strength is fixed on the adhesive layer 2. The base material 1 is formed by an expansible material having strong restoring action so as to strongly press the pad 3 to both piercing holes. The base material is rectangular, the pad 3 has long sides 20-40mm and short sides 10-20mm. The pad is fixed, with the long sides directed to the cross direction of the base material 1. The arterial tube piercing hole is strongly pressed by the pad 3 to stop bleeding, and bleeding from the skin surface piercing hole is absorbed in the pad 3. Thus, sure stopping of bleeding can be accomplished.
