PURPOSE: To provide a still camera apparatus and a reproducing device capable of reproducing sound and information based on the data recorded on film.

CONSTITUTION: This still camera device is provided with a sound input means fetching the sound 12 of a subject 3 and around the subject 3 as the 1st sound data, a means for generating recording data based on the 1st sound data, the 2nd sound data inputted from the outside and/or set and inputted information data, and a means for optically recording the recording data at a specified position 13 on the film 2, so that the data consisting of the sound and the information on the film 2 can be recorded. Then, this reproducing device 15 is provided with an optical reproducing means and a data processing means, so that the sound and the information are reproduced based on the data recorded on the film 2 or a printed picture 14.
