PURPOSE: To shorten a deviation value detecting time, to simplify a planar reference member provided at the side face of a station in a moving vehicle traveling path side, and to easily and inexpensively attain the manufacture and installation thereof by image-picking up the display information of the reference member by a mobile car.

CONSTITUTION: A planar reference member 4 is provided at the side face of a station ST in the moving vehicle traveling path side where a moving vehicle A is traveling. The reference member 4 displays the information for discriminating the stop position of the moving vehicle A to the stop reference position of the station ST. An image pickup means Sa is equipped with plural image pickup parts Sai arranged at prescribed intervals along the longitudinal direction of the moving vehicle A. The moving vehicle A discriminates the deviation value based on the image picked-up information of the plural image pickup parts Sai, that is, the display information of the reference member A read by the image pickup means Sa. Thus, even when the moving vehicle A is positioned away from the stop reference position in the station ST, the reading of the reference member A can be quickly attained, and the moving vehicle A can be prevented from being in contact with the reference member.
