Abstract:
To provide a storage system that improves performance by classifying and temporarily storing cached data based on an attribute of the cached data.SOLUTION: A storage system 1 includes: a storage tier 30 including a plurality of storage devices 31_1, 31_2; a cache tier 20 allocated for each of the storage devices 31_1, 31_2 and including a plurality of zone groups each including a hot data zone 20_1, a warm data zone 20_2, and a cold data zone 20_3; and a system controller 10 that moves data stored in a source storage device to a target storage device through the cache tier 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
