Abstract:
PURPOSE:To extremely reduce the capacity and size of a device and to improve the detection accuracy of a physical quantity by forming 2nd slits so that they shift by 180 deg. from each other about a load axis crossing a center axis. CONSTITUTION:Two transducer main bodies 20 and 30 are coupled with each other so that their 2nd slits 22a and 32a are in 180 deg. shift relation about the load axis P-P crossing the center axis at right angles. Then when a compressive load is placed on the load applied part 16 of an upper transducer main body 20 through a load seat 26 in the direction of the load axis P-P, the transducer main bodies 20 and 30 have almost no strain except their strain inducing parts 25 and 35 because they are made thicker and their rigidities are set higher than the strain inducing parts 25 and 35, therefore the parts 25 and 35 of thin cylinder parts 22 and 32 are strained by elastical deformation. Consequently, bending moment proportional to the applied load operates on the strain inducing parts 25 and 35 to generate bending stress. Consequently, the detection accuracy of the physical quantity can be improved.
