Abstract:
To provide a strand rod connection method and a connection structure capable of obtaining a connection part with excellent durability.SOLUTION: In a strand rod connection method, two strand rods 1 formed by twisting a plurality of strands 10 are connected to each other by rod end parts 17. The strand rod connection method comprises a first step of unwinding the plurality of strands 10 at each rod end part 17 of the two strand rods 1 and installing shape-retaining spacers 21, 22, which guide each strand 10, against elastic repulsion of each strand 10, to maintain a unwound positional relation between the strands 10, and a second step of superimposing and joining the rod end parts 17 of the two strand rods 1 to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
