Abstract:
To obtain a radar device with which it is possible to improve tracking performance.SOLUTION: A radar device 1 comprises: an antenna 10 for emitting a beam to each of a plurality of search areas and receiving reflected waves propagated by reflection of the beam at a target; a signal processing unit 14 for acquiring an observation value based on the signal obtained by receiving reflected waves; a track management unit 16 for holding track information for each search area; and a track update unit 17 for updating, on the basis of the observation value, the track having been registered due to that track information is held by the track management unit 16. The track management unit 16 is capable of holding the same track information as a track belonging to a first search area as track information belonging to a second search area which is a search area other than the first search area. The track update unit 17 finds a track after updates on the basis of the observation value for one of the track belonging to the first search area and the track belonging to the second search area, and finds a predicted track on the basis of registered track for the other of these.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
