Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously generate an agitation stream and a vertical stream and to improve washing performance by forming plural through-holes at the prescribed parts of a pulsator rotatably mounted inside a spinning tub and providing a vertical stream generation means to be vertically moved accompanying the rotation of the pulsator inside the through-holes.
SOLUTION: When laundry is fed into the spinning tub 4 and an operation is started, the pulsator 5 is reduction-rotated through a driving power transmitter 14 by the rotation of a motor 3. Also, at this time, by cooperation with a second magnet 80 attached to the bottom part of the spinning tub 4, first magnets 60 in the vertical stream generation means 70 arranged inside the through-holes formed at equal intervals in the peripheral direction on the pulsator 5 generate repulsive force at a spot where the magnets 60 and 80 become the same polarity and generates attraction force at the spot where they become to opposite polarities, and thus, the vertical stream generation means 70 are vertically operated. By the synergistic effect of the vertical stream generated at this time and the agitation stream of the pulsator 5, washing efficiency is improved.
