Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widely apply a flat plate structure regardless of form or use of a building.
SOLUTION: A floor 20 of a building is constituted of a flat plate, a main frame of the longitudinal direction in the building is constituted as a rigid frame construction, a main frame of the span direction is constituted of an earthquake resisting wall, and the whole building is borne on a base isolation device. Beams 27, 29 and 31 of the longitudinal direction are flat beams incorporated in the flat plate. The building is used as an apartment house, and a door boundary wall 4 dividing it into dwelling units is used as the earthquake resisting wall. A floor on a water-using zone 13 around the kitchen in the dwelling unit is lower than the peripheral floor to ensure a piping space therein.
