Abstract:
To provide a sub-transmission of a vehicle which can switch a gear change mode of the sub-transmission by a small operation force.SOLUTION: A sub-transmission 20 has a planetary gear mechanism 21, a case 25, a sleeve 30 inputted with the torque of a drive source via an automatic transmission 13, and a rotation output part 28 for outputting torque. The planetary gear mechanism 21 comprises a ring gear 23 connected to the case 25, a planetary carrier 26 in which a first engaged spline 29A is formed, and which is connected to the rotation output part 28, and a sun gear 22 in which a second engaged spline 22A is formed. The sleeve 30 has engagement splines 30B, 30C, rotates integrally with an output shaft of the automatic transmission, and is displaceable to a rotation axial direction. The engagement splines 30B, 30C of the sleeve 30 are selectively engaged with either of the first engage spline 29A of the planetary carrier 26 and the second engaged spline 22A of the ring gear 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
