Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a subcutaneous injection agent which is useful for producing superior calves and can induce superovulation in cows even by a single administration.SOLUTION: Used is the subcutaneous injection agent for superovulation induction in cows comprising aluminium hydroxide gel in which the concentration of aluminium hydroxide is 0.2 mg/mL or more to below 1.0 mg/mL in terms of aluminium, and an effective amount of gonadotrophic hormones. A superior calf is produced by injecting this injection to a cow subcutaneously to induce superovulation, causing sexual excitement to perform artificial insemination, and subsequently collecting fertilized eggs.
