Abstract:
To obtain a new compound having analgesic effect, being a biological effect mainly or partially brought through a δ-opiate receptor.
The compound of formula I [R1 is OH, a 1-6C alkoxy or the like; R2 is a 1-6C alkyl; R3 is a 1-6C alkyl, a (CH2)1 or 2-aryl or the like; R4 and R5 are each H, Cl, F or the like; X is O, S, SO or the like; Y is (CH2)1 or 2 or the like], for example, 3-(4-dimethylaminomethyl-2,3- dihydrobenzo[b]thiepin-5-yl)-phenol hydrochloride, is preferably obtained by reacting a tertiary alcohol of formula II with an acid (for example, semi- concentrated or concentrated organic or inorganic acid, most preferably formic acid or hydrochloric acid) at a temperature of 0-100°C.
