Material (blank) 10b cut out in a predetermined shape is placed on the female die 20. The material 10b is successively formed by that the material is moved along an inner peripheral surface of the female die 20 while pressing the material 10b by the bar-shaped tool 30 from an upper portion in a state that the bottom face 11 of the material 10b is supported by a seat 40. The material 10b is eventually formed in a predetermined shape as the material is not inclined so that the bottom face 11 of the material 10b is fixed on the seat 40. Further, an arc portion of a flange 12 is not spread out since the arc portion of the flange 12 is processed by holding between the female die 20 and bar-shaped tool 30. Perpendicularity between a flange 12a of the arc portion and the bottom face 11 can be improved.
